The Diploma in Translation is designed for those who strive for a career in professional translation and have reached a high level of linguistic competence. Trainees will learn how to translate from a source language into a target language at a professional standard and will develop their awareness of the roles, responsibilities and activities involved in being a translator.

Assessment
Submission of assignments will result in the achievement of the Diploma in Translation. These include two translation projects and evidence completion of the three level requirements. The full diploma will be awarded when the levels are passed at a minimum of B- (65%).
Delivery
Hybrid Learning
With this mode of learning, you will receive all the benefits of Distance Learning plus up to twelve hours of one-to-one support with an expert tutor who will guide you through the course. The schedule is flexible and will be determined between yourself and our admission team in the UK upon enrolment.
Virtual Campus
On the Virtual Campus, you’ll meet weekly with like-minded students from all over the world to engage in close-nit discussions of key subjects and discuss real workplace experiences. This is a great opportunity to network with other professionals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. You’ll still get all the benefits of a Distance Learning student.

Eligibility
Applicants must have at least 87% on an English language level test (C2) and adequate computer skills.
